Take a photo with the bronze replica of one of film's greatest boxing heroes at Rocky Statue, located at the base of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This statue was created for Rocky III, and after the movie was finished, Syllvester Stallone, the actor who brought Rocky Balboa to life, donated it to the City of Philadelphia. Now, the statue stands at the bottom of the stairs, known as the “Rocky Steps." Run to the top, recreating the iconic moment in the underdog's training montage, and take in a view of the city as you feel the rush. Remember to pack your camera and running shoes before you head out to pay tribute to Rocky. • Super cool if you're a Rocky fan. The statue is off to the side next to the stairs. There was a bit of a line, but it moved fast, as all you can really do is take a quick pic. There were some vendors....  more

  • We were the only ones there on a drizzly day in April. Statue is located next to the steps from the film. It’s a bit of fun but worth seeing if you’re in the area.

  • Must have pic when in Philly
  • I went to the Rocky Statue yesterday, March 13, 2022. It was a special moment for me because Rocky has been a childhood hero of mine since I was 5 years old. Growing up, watching Rocky was inspirational and he was a true fighter against life. I love you Sylvester Stallone for creating such a beloved character that is a true hero to many of us around the world.
