  • Most amazing place! This yr marked 35 yrs I have been camping there with the family and the place hasnt changed! Highly suggest if you love a natural off the grid spot.
  • I had camped on Hermit Island years ago and loved it . I was so excited to bring a friend there to camp last weekend . I was horribly embarrassed because the toilets were filthy! The non flushing ones were so full they weren’t usable. The flushing toilets looked like they hadn’t been scrubbed in a long time ! I said something to the person registering campers and she blew me off. For the price to camp there clean useable toilets shouldn’t be asking too much. Also the beach’s weren’t clean either ... lots of old dried seaweed on the sand that made even walking on the beach unpleasant. I would not recommend camping there ... sadly it’s gone downhill
