  • I trailered my horse here and enjoyed riding on a cold November day. It was beautiful and pretty much empty. I've never been in the summer.

  • This beach is ever changing and at low tide seems like your on another planet. It is vast at low tide and long sand bars to walk out onto. The first time we found Popham Beach it was late in the day...

  • Amazing beach for long walks, hanging out at the beach, and we recently came on a day with big swells coming in. It is a state park, no dogs in season (April-September), and fees per person apply. Can be very packed in the summer with a line of cars to enter. Worth making a whole day of it!
  • I love walking for miles here during low tide. We discovered this place when my boys were very young and loved watching them play for hours in the tide pools. My boys are much older now and they still love walking around in each tide pools. Make sure you go there when you can experience the low tides.
