Trip Planner: USA / Arizona / Phoenix & Central Arizona / Phoenix / Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix
The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix is a traditional strolling garden as you would find in Japan. Come by to experience a calm feeling of serenity as you walk along the path. You may purchase food to feed hundreds of beautiful and colorful koi fish in the pond. Stop in the Gift Shop to purchase your tickets and perhaps a memento of your visit. A true cultural atmosphere to learn about Japan's customs, people, and way of life. THE GARDEN CLOSES JULY - SEPTEMBERPlan my Phoenix trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

An absolutely incredible garden in a strangely quiet area of Phoenix. The staff who care for and manage the garden are extremely kind, the garden itself is beautifully manicured and designed. It's within walking distance of a Teaspressa, so it's the perfect contemplative walking area even during the summer - just head down the street to cool down. We're hosting our wedding here, and the incredible organization and attention given by the organizers of this venue is astounding. A must-visit if you're a fan of horticulture or Japanese history.
My boyfriend and I attended one of their Japanese ceremonies they have and let me tell you how relaxing and enjoyable it was. Highly recommend. The staff is super friendly and helpful!
