National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix

This cemetery is so peaceful, the moment you enter through the gates. My Grandfather and his brother are laid to rest here. The most recent person is my Mother. Its been very hard for me to accept. We had ordered her head stone and it has been since January 2022 and it's still not placed. My dad went and asked and the gentleman said it was placed a month ago. No it hasn't been

I go to visit my grandparents. It is peaceful, serene and a quiet place to reflect (unless there's a military funeral nearby, in which case the gun salutes are enough to make you want to bring an extra pair of pants). My Grandparents aren't near a bench, so be prepared for some tiny red any friends, who will join you shortly. You really only want for shade. Otherwise, all the burial sites are respectfully well-kept.
