  • We have stayed in rooms and also stayed at the campground. Our experience has been wonderful each time. The scenery is beautiful and there is wildlife activity on the water. The entire area has...  more »
  • Very few people. Felt safe and it was nice to be outside. Camping area is clean. Avoid the slots that say pull-thru. You are right on the road.  more »
  • Clean washrooms, keep your family in the beach roped area not swimming elsewhere. Great for a day. Drive 15 minutes south to Ts Shake Shack outstanding ice cream and snow cones.
  • Great place for short hikes. The butterfly garden inn hiking trail is approximately 1.2 miles and the island loop trail by cabin 9 is a pleasant 2.8 loop through the forest and near the edge of Pickwick Lake. Put them together for a four miles walk.
