  • We went to Splash Country it is great for the whole family. We rented the retreat and we were close to one of the water rides that my grandson really liked. Great plsce to go.  more »
  • Fantastic landscaping. Lots of great slides. Most of the slides are very fast and some are very wild and borderline aggressive. I injured a toe on one and and an elbow on another, simply just...  more »
  • First off the kids like it but that's where the positives end. When arriving, there are no signs directing you to the water park which is separate from Dollywood. We wasted 30min because we parked in the Dollywood parking lot. The park itself is very compact and quickly becomes too crowded to enjoy your visit. We went to the H20 booth (fast pass) and was told that lines weren't very long yet and that we should wait to purchase the pass. It seemed like good advice until an 2 hours later the kids checked in and informed us they'd only been on 2 slides. Basically without the H20 pass you're wasting time and money. Food and drink prices are outrageous. Covered areas have seating so close together you practically have to fall onto the seats. Overall, Splash Country follows the same business plan as Dollywood. You get much more for your dollar at Six Flags or even Universal Studios than the Dollywood properties. It's unfortunate since these parks are right in the vicinity of one of our favorite vacation spots. Things that would improve both Splash Country and Dollywood: limit park admission and lower costs to at least Six Flags levels.
  • This is one of the nicest water parks I have ever been to. There was not any trash lying around. Plenty of lockers to store valuables. Lines were decent. The changing rooms were good but not as many. There are several family restrooms throughout the park and it would be nice to have a portable shower head in all instead of a select few. Plenty of opportunities for younger kids to ride as well as splash/play areas other than a pool.
