Take a ride on 61 m (200 ft) The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel at the base of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If Ferris wheels scare you, don't worry. This ride is smooth, and you are completely enclosed in glass while relaxing in one of the 42 gondolas, which can hold up to eight people. You'll take in scenic views of Pigeon Forge and the mountains surrounding it from the top of this ride. You can combine your ride with a trip to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies for a discount on both attractions. If you decide to take a ride at after dark, marvel at the million LED lights that illuminate the wheel at night. The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , online itinerary creator Edition.
The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel Reviews
It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth going on a least once. It goes around four times and the view is amazing!! Also the carts are air conditioned. more »
I was terrified to try this but so very glad I did. The view is spectacular during the day. I will definitely do this again at night. Very comfortable. more »
This is a great place to shop. Gotta love it here in tenn. I could live here. If you come here at any age i can promise you, you will find a lot of stuff to do and see and you will love it. Great place to visit.
Very comfortable and bright resort in lovely Ontario Canada! I shared my 2- bedroom room with family: master bedroom with king bed plus bathroom and jet tub, plus second room with 2 full beds with bathroom. Fold out sofa bed in living room was very handy. Nice size, full kitchen with dishwasher saved some money as we prepared family meals together. Large dining room table was center if activities as games were played and meals spent together. Outdoor shared charcoal grills available. We used the I door pool every day! A small outdoor sitting area just off the living room area was quiet and peaceful and allowed rest from active days. Lots of walking trails within acreage of and outside of the resort. We enjoyed a special Father's Day buffet with a chef preparing our custom eggs! Very tasrmty food,! The activity hall building included many indoor activities for adults and kids. Room just for tots and little kids. Free rental of DVD's was great. Out door basketball, golf and horseshoes was super fun. Everyday art project for a age levels. Close to many restaurants, area sites and shopping all around resort areas. Residents were super friendly! Beautiful setting, clean communities, great travel roads, many sight seeing areas- lovely, worthwhile vacation.
