  • This was really a great hike. It's a bit off the main path, which is nice because there weren't too many other hikers about. The trail had some gradual inclines, so it should be a problem for most people. The falls were a great reward for the walk, but honestly so was the surrounding scenery. We had a fun hike and are glad that we decided to hike it.
  • This was a solo hiking trip. It was my first time hiking Daniel Ridge Trail loop. it was a beautiful hike. I was the only one on the trail that morning. I did run into an elderly couple who were fishing on my way out. The falls were pretty. I bet that during a good rain that they are awesome. I will tell this on myself. I was down by the river after getting off the trail. I was walking on this big rock. I w as thinking to myself that it was a good place to slip and fall. Sure enough not 2 seconds later my feet flew out from under me. My camera and walking stick went flying. I landed flat of my back. I'm glad no one was there to see it. My pride got a little bruise as well as my behind....lol
