  • Great place to take the kids. My wife and I went on our own and had a good time. There's lots to see and do. The sports section is really great to get the kids involved. If you go take the time to go through the submarine, it was an eye opener how confined it is and very interesting! (One small note, you will come out with a hint of diesel smell on you). A great location to visit if you're in town.
  • Remarkable collection of dinosaurs, gems and minerals, birds, Egyptian artifacts, Polar World, , butterflies and other insects, fossils, American Indians, and more. Excellent docent tours and gift shop. Pittsburgh is very fortunate to have this museum, which is physically attached to the Carnegie Museum of Art.
