At The Andy Warhol Museum, the largest museum in the country dedicated to a single artist, study the art of Andy Warhol from his student days to the peak of his career. The seven floors are laid out chronologically, with each floor representing an era in Warhol’s life. Watch the movie at the start of the self-guided tour to gain additional insight into the influential artist and his works. The museum includes Warhol’s art, his papers, other materials from his estate, a collection of films and videos, and a live video feed from his grave site. Also, look for the drawings by his mother, Julia. If you visit with kids, bring them to the area where they can create their own art. This place does a really good job going over the life and evolution of Andy Warhol. Each floor has a decade or two of his art and a thorough explanation of his evolution and major facts. You don't have to know anything about Andy Warhol to enjoy it and understand it. On the second floor there is a changing guest artists work. The artist I saw seemed interrelated to Andy Warhol not sure this I'd a requirement but the art definitely reminded me of the art of Andy and i appreciated it.

A complete overview of the artist's life, starting from his early amazing works as publicity illustrator. The museum shows also many inspirational objects that are part of a more extended collection conserved in an archive not accessible to the public, and offers workshops for experimenting the graphic techniques invented by Andy Warhol. Wonderfully organized!
