Wigle Whiskey, Pittsburgh

I've done several distillery tours before and the one I experienced at Wiggle was top notch. The tour guide knew his stuff and kept the vibe light, and I was very impressed by the tastings and coupon given for any full purchases. Overall, the whiskey was good, tour fun, and facilities super nice.

Tried the distillery tour here for a date night and was absolutely worth the experience and worth every penny. You get a cocktail (pick 1 from 4), as you walk in. The guide will then walk you through the distilling area, explain the history of Wigle Whiskey and also provide 3 samples. At the end of the tour, you are seated at a table and everyone gets a whiskey flight to sample 4 different whiskeys. The tour lasted a little over an hour, learned a lot. You can also try all the different liquors they have available at the bar in the tour area. The coffee liquor was my favorite! Will definitely visit again to try their food menu. Tips: 1. Register online for the tour beforehand 2. Have a meal a while before or eat at their restaurant before doing the tour 3. Definitely buy the coffee liqueur.
