The most entertaining and informative alcohol tour I’ve ever been on. A must visit in Pittsburgh. Very high quality, made from scratch whiskeys (many with significant age on them as well as interesting barrel finishes). They also produce Dutch style gin that won best gin in the country this year. Nothing like I’ve ever had. vodka, bitters too. Very friendly, smart and down to earth staff.
Great distillery. The tour was filled with interesting historical stories as well as detailed information on the distilling process. They have you sample a few different products throughout the tour before sitting you down for a more formal tasting session at the end of the tour. Nice cocktail bar in there too that will let you sample different bottles before ordering or walking away with a bottle of your new favorite liquor.
