Stonelick State Park, Pleasant Plain

Very nice park with a lot of activities. Also a fairly decent lake to go fishing in as well. If you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of the resident Bald Eagle as I did today. Well worth a visit for outdoor enthusiasts. There is also a beach that is typically not too crowded.

It's been 2 years since we visited Stonelick, and we really enjoyed it again. It's always fairly quiet, other campers are respectful, and it's a nice place to camp at. Most of the spots have electricity. Some spots have water and gray water disposal points. There's at least one bathroom per section. Whether you are using a tent like us, or you have an RV, you should be able to find a spot to enjoy. There's an outdoor auditorium as well as hiking trails and the beach, you can rent kayaks and enjoy other activities as well. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who enjoys camping in a park environment.
