We took our cats here for a walk and they really enjoyed it! Especially Nori enjoyed climbing all over the rocks. This is a perfect place to take your kiddos and pets to enjoy a little bit of nature. There are also horse trails, so you might be lucky and see those as well. We got to see a couple of goslings with their mama, some turtles, birds,… it was so pleasant to walk around. The park wasn’t crowded at all and even if there were a bit more people there are so many trails that all you need to do is to find another trail. The parking was a bit of a problem. We had to park on the side of the highway because the parking lot was full. Also our battery died and we had to wait for AAA to jump start us. Service guy came within 30 min and we were off. While we were waiting for AAA the police came to check on us which was really nice. It felt like if something serious was happening there would be someone to help.

Rockefeller Park preserve loop, about 7 miles. I started before 9am on 2/5/2022. Lots of ice on the trails, but doable if you go slow. It would have been better with spikes. I used the All trails map along the way but the trail is mostly clearly marked. Overall an easy trail with some nice views!
