  • Not sure why people are giving this site anything less than five stars. It's a historical site that has been beautifully preserved to reflect the way the Coolidge family lived in the 1800's and when it was used as the "Summer White House" in 1924. Mostly everything on the site is original and in excellent condition. The tour was very informative and offered a nice overview of Calvin Coolidge's family life and rise to the presidency. Two hours is easily enough to see and experience everything. Well worth the visit if presidential homesteads and American history are what you are interested in.
  • I'm so glad I visited this place dedicated to perhaps the United States' most underappreciated president. I found the entire experience quite moving and charming. The village of Plymouth has been restored and preserved to appear as it did when Coolidge was a young lad. And definitely don't miss the cheese shop originally founded by President Coolidge's dad in 1890. The sage & herb cheddar is out of this world!
