Zoo Idaho, Pocatello

We just moved to the area and figured our 5 year old would enjoy the local zoo. For $55 we got the family pass that pays for itself on the third visit for our family. Our 5 year old enjoyed seeing both the black bear and grizzly bear up close. It took us just about an hour to see the whole place. A lot of work is being done to the place right now, so hopefully it is even better later this fall. Overall our experience was good for the time and money spent. I would hope that as renovations are done, more room is given to the animals. The Black Bears definitely need an upgrade.

Super fun zoo! Had a lot of animals, and was bigger than I expected. Unfortunately because of the avian flu, a lot of birds were not there. I was even able to feed the goats with all my spare quarters! Was easily able to find the entrance, and cages looked great to me!
