  • If you like to walk on not-very-crowded beaches, this is a good one. Windy and cool in late winter, early spring. Dress warmly. Take the access road where the Manchester KOA sign is. Other access...

  • The facility and the staff are all amazing. So much stuff for kids and adults to do: swimming, disc golf, bocci ball, painting, ice cream social, volleyball and the list goes on. Not to mention you are so close to the beach. Very dog friendly! They had a very large dog park along with a smaller one which I thought was very nice, we have a mini pig that comes camping with us and she really enjoyed the small dog park yard. Everyone that works there are so friendly and always greeting you with a smile. We will for sure visit them again and I highly recommend others do as well.
  • As someone who's traveled this great land, I've been to many a KOA. From Virginia Beach to California and back, I know me a good KOA and I know me a bad KOA. How does this one stack up? In a nutshell: not too shabby. I'll start with the only thing that keeps this KOA from being 5 stars. The bathrooms. They're not horrible, mind you. They're clean. It's just that I've been to some KOA's that have individual bathroom's and individual showers, and they're game changers. I was hoping to find those here, but it wasn't to be. But the showers and bathrooms were clean. As for the rest of it. Well, their community kitchen set up is better than any KOA I've been to. Truly, it's top notch. You can bring out your food and cook (they even have a microwave in there that you can use whenever you need to heat something up. They've got a pool table and games if you're into that. The pool isn't huge, but it's a pool, and they hot tub is hot. I stayed in a non deluxe, run of the mill cabin, which did leave plenty to be desired. Literally just 2 bunk beds and a full bed. The only plug was in the bunk bed room (which is just the back part of the full bed room) so if you're staying in the full bed you've got to run an extension cord to the front part if you wanted to use your phone while charging it. A small table and that's the cabin. But it is a cabin, does have heaters in each part of the room, and it didn't pretend to be anything amazing, so I couldn't be mad at it. It's a busy place in an off-the-beaten-path kind of town, which makes it the most happening place in Manchester, I'd imagine. 4 stars. Open and shut
