Lovely historic mansion with beautiful grounds that slope gently to the water’s edge. We didn't have time to go inside, and still we were glad we stopped.

This was a very pleasant surprise, spur of the moment stop. I love flowering gardens and this time of year in February we hadn’t seen anything blooming until here today!

Very peaceful. Quiet. Fantastic spot for grilling or picnics. Well maintained. Clean bathrroms. Only costs $4 per vehicle to get in. Not much to see in the garden but the grounds are beautiful. Water views. The house is charming. Small gift shop. Worth the trip, would recommend!

Lovely day out. If you can catch one of the tours (10 person limit) you will have a lovely guided tour of the house and contents with a very pleasant ranger. My kids loved her!
