BIP is located at 100 Library Blvd behind the Ponte Vedra Beach Library. It is the first park travelers heading south along the Scenic A1A Byway encounter. BIP features an entrance gazebo that leads into a winding trail that takes park guests past water features and examples of native hammock and educational signage. Visitors experience sample Northeast Florida ecosystems highlighting the native flora and fauna . The hedged sea turtle maze provides shade trees and four beautifully crafted benches in the center for visitors to relax and enjoy their surroundings. BIP features a story telling area with benches and a small amphitheater enhanced with beautiful mosaic tiles and shade trees. A boardwalk encircles the pond that features Bird Island in the center, a second gazebo on the waterfront and a play area for the little ones. The handicapped accessible sidewalk winds around the entire park. Three times around the park equals one mile making Bird Island Park a great place for everyone to enjoy nature while getting their daily exercise!See Bird Island Park and all Ponte Vedra Beach has to offer by arranging your trip with our Ponte Vedra Beach route planner.

This was a lovely little park. Very peaceful and a lot of birds to see. Not to long of a walk so should be good for most people! Highly recommend!
