Always fun to come here. It's been years since my last visit but it's still as beautiful as ever. Just watch out for the jellyfish that unfortunately wash up on the sand! New bathrooms are extremely clean and nice as well.
Easily one of the top 3 Texas State parks, especially now that their bathhouse and campground have re-opened. Still some recovery construction to be completed after Hurricane Harvey but even so, the beaches are beautiful and even when crowded it is a family-friendly place to relax and experience the ocean. Bring wood (and a shovel) and have a fire after dark - or even a bonfire!
