  • There are nice gift shops at a number lighthouses. This lighthouse also has a museum with a great deal of local background beyond just the lighthouse. Come prepared to spend some time so you can enjoy it after you've taken pictures, checked out the monument and wandered a bit.
  • Scenic route to get here with parking close to the lighthouse (spots usually not hard to get). Hardly ever crowded and easy walks around and under the lighthouse. Occasionally the lighthouse will be open and you can take the stairs up - donation suggested to do that. Oh, and a good view!
