The Calhoun County Museum was established in 1964 by the Calhoun County Commissioner’s Court and was originally housed in the 1896 County Jail Building. The Museum is a local museum dealing with Calhoun County history and natural history. One of the outstanding exhibits of the museum is an eight-foot scale model of Indianola before the hurricane of 1875.

  • My young daughters and I loved visiting the museum. The light from inside of the light house was their personal favorite. But we also really enjoyed the scale model of the old town.  more »
