  • Really interesting history here as well as neat Florida gardens, probably an hour or so to see most of it  more »
  • Such a well kept outdoor space for a garden manned by volunteers! So many plants were labeled. Beautiful live oak trees are massive in size! Lots of information boards on the Sugar Mill ruins...  more »

  • This place was interesting and pretty. The remnants of the sugar mill were cool. Looking through the old building. Then my husband and I walked around the paths the flowers and plants were amazing. Some of the biggest elephant ears I've ever seen. We are here on a chill vacation so this has been perfect.
  • My husband and I took our little kiddo here, and we had a blast! The gardens are obviously well-loved; everything was lush and green and pristine. There's some ruins of a theme park called Bongoland here, too, and that was our son's favorite part! There are dinosaur statues made from concrete and chicken wire and they are so cool and totally worth visiting. We also found a neat little library where you take a book and leave a book. And it's FREE, though donations are accepted and encouraged. I love these gardens and I will certainly be returning.
