  • Beautiful place, but situated in a neighborhood and next to the YMCA, which makes it a bit odd. Definitely not a hike. Takes maybe 20 minutes to walk the loop. With that said , we had hoped to see a gator and we saw at least 8 of them! We also saw a ton of turtles. Beautiful scenery.
  • A lovely park with a loop trail that goes around and over the wetlands. We really enjoyed it. We saw lots of birds, turtles and alligators. My son was quite intrigued by how closely the turtles seemed take be “hanging out” next to the alligators and I used it as a teaching moment to explain to him that animals rarely kill other species when they aren’t hungry. We were able to see several alligators of various sizes. All in all, a nice little visit that makes you appreciate the local ecosystem.
