Possibility Playground is a playground in Port Washington, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin built to accommodate children with special needs and used by children of all abilities. The playground was the brainchild of Mardy McGarry, a special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary School.Take a look at our Port Washington journey planner to schedule your visit to Possibility Playground and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.
With donations from several local organizations and many individuals, McGarry was able to raise enough money for the building materials. The actual construction was done by thousands of volunteers, beginning in September 2008 and completed within six days. Opened in October 2008, the playground has equipment that accommodates the disabilities of special needs children so that they can navigate the playground with ease.

We love that the playground is fenced in with the one exit. It’s very easy to keep track of children as they play. We used to take our youngest son to this park years ago and now we are blessed to be able to take our grandson! He loves counting the numbers and saying the alphabet that decorated the playground landscape. The place is BIG, clean and in an awesome location by the lake. We visited on a really hot day and were pleased that the equipment was not too hot to utilize.

Really beautiful accessible park. Very similar to the dream playground in kenosha, however, I think it is slightly easier to see your kids playing around this one. Just better visibility in general. It has decent restrooms. The proximity to Lake Michigan is nice as well as the local hiking trails and restaurants in the area. And lots of pokestops;)
