Possibility Playground is a playground in Port Washington, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin built to accommodate children with special needs and used by children of all abilities. The playground was the brainchild of Mardy McGarry, a special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary School.Take a look at our Port Washington journey planner to schedule your visit to Possibility Playground and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.
With donations from several local organizations and many individuals, McGarry was able to raise enough money for the building materials. The actual construction was done by thousands of volunteers, beginning in September 2008 and completed within six days. Opened in October 2008, the playground has equipment that accommodates the disabilities of special needs children so that they can navigate the playground with ease.

I love that this park is fenced. One way in; one way out. There’s a lot to do for all ages. It’s picturesque setting tops it off. Finally, very clean bathroom facilities

Really nice playground. Restrooms are close to the park. Has covered pavilions and lots of picnic tables. Plus many benches in side the park. It's the nice rubber flooring so easy on the knees if you fall. Has low monkey bars for the real littles to try out and plenty of swings. This park can hold lots of kids without feeling overwhelming. There's only 1 entrance/ exit so it's easy to keep track of your children without worrying they're going to run out. Has a big metal enclosed slide and many smaller slides. Climbing walls, ropes, merry-go-round, sensory toys, music areas and so much more. I highly recommend this park. Parking is right across from the park and close by. Lake Michigan is right next to the park you can see it and feel it if there's a breeze. Pack a coat for early mornings or summer days that don't get too hot. It can get chilly.

Clean and child friendly playground. A variety of equipment for ages toddler on up. Lots of parking, up on the bluff. Next to the playground is a nice covered picnic area, and restrooms/water fountains (bubblers). The playground itself is surrounded by a fence which is nice.
