  My wife and I took the Amtrak from Boston to Portland, Maine. Since Bissell Brothers was a 5 min walk from the train station, we figured it would be our first stop in Portland. This place is really....  more »

  Upscale industrial setting just outside of downtown. Great selection of cans and even better draft options. Outdoor patio was nice as was the loft inside. Located next to a winery and a distillery so something for everyone during a visit.

  Bissell Brothers beer is in my opinion a little bit above average. The location is wonderful, set back in an industrial park and next door to a restaurant and distillery it's a one stop shop of fun! Atmosphere and customers were wonderful with good conversation everywhere we looked. Everything about Bissell Brothers is fantastic....except thier beer. They seem to rush out new beers and have such a large menu of brews that the quality overall has dropped since I first tried them years ago. Overall I will still be visiting again. The experience of visiting is wonderful and highly recommended.
