Great place to walk- beach available, paved and gravel, park above and paths to get there, parking, bathroom (and porta johns) one end goes to Old Port, the other curls around to shops on Eastern...

Really pretty and easy to walk trail along the bay. Packed gravel or paved, appropriate for biking or a stroller. You can go up a small hill and make a loop out of it and have high views of the bay. There is a park with a lovely playground for the little ones at the top. Easy to walk into downtown Portland and enjoy the mini shops and restaurants. Don’t wear heels in town because it’s mostly cobblestone!

One of my favorite walks in the East. Well maintained, and appropriate amount of signage. High foot-traffic on weekends (expected).
