Inspired by the perfumers of Paris and the fine chocolatiers of Provence, teamaker Steve Smith has once again picked up his tasting spoon — a big-bellied, sterling silver antique found in a stall in Tinsukia, India. Steve uses this spoon daily, to perfect the teas that bear his name. Joined by trusted cohorts from his previous tea adventures, such as Tazo, he lovingly crafts each small batch of Smith in his Teaworks atelier.

  • Lovely selection of tea and a nice view of the packaging room. Staff was friendly and helpful and made great tea for us to drink. Little breakfast snack was nice.  more »
  • The staff here are very friendly & knowledgeable. We got a tea flight ($12) which has a cool presentation & a way to try more than one tea at a time. Two reasons as to why it wasn’t a five star experience & it’s just personal preference - the place itself isn’t very cozy & for $12 you could buy several tea bags (because that’s what the flight is) & create a similar experience at home. I have been to higher quality / cheaper tea places in the Portland metro area. All depends on preference.
  • We tried a pair of tea flights. I was really excited that they allow guests to choose their own four teas off their expansive menu. The flights were gorgeously presented, informational, delicious and large enough for two to share. This is now on my list of things to do when I have guests in town. Bonus: cozy atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
