  • A must see for this town! It is amazing well kept and beautiful renderings. We loved the pedestals placed opposite of the mural. I wish they were placed closer together, but had amazing information...

  • Nowhere have I ever seen so much talented painted artwork. It tells the story of settlers and the history of the area. Almost a mile long of paintings on a flood wall!!!

  • Holy flood wall!! This thing is massive and a great way to post the history of Portsmouth. Start at the beginning and walk the entire length of the wall for the full experience. At one end there is a visitor center with restrooms and a plethora of information for other activities for the city. We parked on the street at the beginning. I didn’t see any parking lots dedicated to the wall but I’m sure there are some open lots around. We just decided to grab what we found. I completely recommend a stop to learn about the rich history of the town.
  • This is a very amazing place to visit! The art looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. If you are in Portsmouth and have time to check out the flood wall? It is definitely a place that you should visit! Even the side of some of the buildings are painted to look like the late 1800's or early 1900's! It's a beautiful place to visit!
