  • Really nice state park right outside of Richmond. Plenty of trails and many run along the James River. Some of the trails are shared with horses. The restrooms and other facilities are all fairly new and clean. The campsites are nice too. Definitely recommended for hiking.
  • every inch of this park is beautiful and well maintained. the campsites are spacious, the bathrooms are hygienic, the trails are well kept, the rangers are helpful and kind. I love this place
