One of PV’s landmarks, Glassford Hill was once an active volcano between 10 and 14 million years ago. Colonel William A. Glassford traveled the area in the 1880s and helped build a system of 27 heliograph stations to monitor the movements of Apache Indians, U.S. military troops and civilians. • This is a cute little park. There are picnic tables here with shelters, shady spots to park and bathrooms to use if needed. The parade of lights they have here around Christmas is enjoyable as well.  more »
  • Very nice small park. Easy to moderate hiking trails and short enough to take children on the easy ones. Nice covered seating areas for picnics. Nice lake and waterfall area.
  • Very beautiful waterfall. Nice place to visit. My family and i had a picnic there. The view of the mountainside and little lake is so enviting. Very clean and the mineshaft area was neet to visit and read history. The little trails there are nice to traverse. Beautiful back drop. Loved it.
