  • There are many hiking trails. It is a wonderful scenery. I don't think it's Arizona. I'm surprised that there is such a big forest.

  • A weekend of music on the Court House lawn. Stage at one end, freelance jamming on the other. All free. Don't miss it.  more »

  • Depending on where we go inside the Prescott National Forest, we usually enjoy the fresh air, the smell of pine and juniper, the wildlife and a sense of being a million miles away from civilization. The nice thing about Prescott is, it's close to Phoenix, which makes it great for a day trip or for a weekend of hiking, exploring and camping. It has a lot of great places to eat and every type of store for your supplies.
  • Beautiful scenery with a huge selection of hiking paths! Great for a day trip or even just a drive through the country. Be sure to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and lots of water so you can survive the dangers of the high altitude.
