  • This is a very worthwhile stop for anyone that appreciates history. The docents are all friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable.

  • As a historian, I visit a lot of museums. This is one of my favorites! It is so fascinating, and the volunteer tour guides are wonderful -- especially Allan Cooper. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Sharlot Hall and the Prescott area. I would be happy to have him teach me any topic he is interested in! I visited the museum on a whim because I was in Prescott visiting a friend and waiting for her to get done with work -- I live in Michigan, but I will absolutely be going back to the museum the next time I am in town!
  • One of the coolest museums i've been. This open air museum has the original governors mansion built in that location and was home to the governor of the territory of Arizona. It also has old farmhouses and so many other cool things. The gift shop is stocked with amazing things to help you remember your trip. It is located around several good restaurants. So much to see, I've been 3 times and I am already planning a trip back!
