Named for Prince Albert, son of Hawai’i’s King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, golf at the Prince Course is truly a royal experience.
It is an 18-hole Championship Course situated on pristine land on the Central and Eastern Plateaus. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., this course is truly a golfer's paradise.
This par- 72 course climbs slopes and careens down hills for a demanding layout that calls for golfers’ most accurate placement. Each hole has five sets of golf tees, with some having as many as nine different tee areas, allowing each golfer to play the golf course in a variety of ways. Play from the black tees is considered so challenging that it is limited to players with handicaps of 5 or less.
Also check out out newly renovated Clubhouse at the Prince Golf Course. It is a stunning view of rolling greens, towering trees and the Pacific Ocean. It is a view that will take your breath away. As will the Clubhouse itself with its Porte Cochere featuring a new Hawaiian double hip tile roof and Mahogany clad columns with beautiful wood features throughout the building, as well as stunning views.
The Clubhouse is 66,000 sq. feet and includes newly redone locker rooms with showers, a very large Golf Shop featuring a variety of items including clothing, name brand clubs, balls and so much more. The Tavern at Princeville by one of Hawaii’s premiere chefs, Roy Yamaguchi, is located in the lower level.
The Prince Golf Course practice facility includes a 1,200-square-foot putting green and another 1,200-square-foot chipping green. The 13-acre facility features 3 separate teeing locations, which allow for different shots and wind conditions.
