  • Sites are small and not very private but the campground is nice and clean. Ranger by several times a day if you like that. Camp host has lots of dry wood available for $5. $2 dollara for a shower. Most sites seem to have electric hook-ups and many with water as well. The reservoir level was extremely low March 2022.
  • Absolutely gorgeous state park. The reservoir is low, but was also frozen over this particular weekend that we went. It was so beautiful at night as the frost was visible and the stars were wonderful! Not completely dark out though, I think the snow had an effect on that. The cabin was clean and cozy. There's a propane grill that we made dinner on and the cabin is very well heated so we slept good even though it was 9° outside. We did have a little bit of signal on our phones too. Rangers were all kind and helpful and there is a small trail right by the cabins. It was an easy hike and we saw tons of tracks from wildlife. We could also hear them clopping around our cabin at night too. Definitely a great place for friends, couples, and families.
