  • The views from the observatory are just spectacular. The Atlantic Ocean on one side, the Maine mountains on the other; nothing can compare. The icing on the cake is the location right next door to venerable Fort Knox. You can buy a ticket for both and certainly should. The Fort is a part of Maine and US history dating back more than 200 years. This is a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
  • Really amazing place to visit! You have to purchase admission to the fort and the bridge at the gate when you drive in. They have an elevator all the way up to the top. If you have trouble with heights I do not recommend going up. The views are amazing and they have plaques with information about the area.
