  • We take visitors here and it is a nice little vantage point from Pueblo west. It’s one of the stops for visiting Pueblo.

  • I liked it. The amenities are great, there was powered where we were which came in handy for the blow up mattresses! There is very little natural shade however, which only pushes you into the refreshing water. Speaking of though, the natural shale layers of earth chip off in an arrowhead like shard and become very sharp and you should be very careful with dogs and bare feet!
  • Very clean shower house and bathrooms. The sites are not stacked on top of each other. We had an electric only site. The water pressure not so great at the main fresh water fill up in the Yucca Flats. But that's OK. I'm not complaining this place was beautiful. Dog friendly.
