  • Beautiful spot. Views, grounds, employees all great. We saw a concert there this Saturday, there was a nice mix of seating and standing under the tent. I thought it was cool that they didn't price gouge on beer at the show ($6 and some nice selections). Lot of glass which they obviously work hard at keeping sparkling clean, nice and bright place. Feels like a little park with a sweet view of the lake as you look east.
  • This review is also for the concert venue: As pointed out in Carol's review, we too were disappointed to find out that the venue is standing room only. That information is not even provided in the details about the venue. That should have been more clear. It was hard to believe that a Steve Earle concert which is typically enjoyed by older generations was not better equipped with seating arrangements. Or at least make that detail well known. The venue itself was gorgeous but poorly organized as far as seating. It was great to be provided free water on the hottest day of the year. The timeline of events was a bit disorganized as well. Concert was supposedly at 1pm but it did not begin until 2pm. Then there was a half hour break between the two acts. I would return under better weather/seating conditions.
