  • My wife and I have been coming to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge since we were children, and we’ve been bringing our children here for the last 13 years!! This place is a beautiful nature preserve and a wonderful asset to the area.. There’s tons to learn and observe here.. If you’re just looking for a peaceful getaway this is the perfect place for that.. The staff here is always friendly and helpful and they maintain the property extremely well so it’s always clean safe.. A favorite attraction for children is the animal sanctuary, where they keep several animals that are either being rehabilitated or are unable to be released back into the wild.. Foxes, owls, hawks and turkey.. The kids will love spending time checking them out!! They also keep a full schedule of programs and events for kids and adults so check them out online.. If you’re on the east end of Long Island and your looking for something to do in nature definitely check out the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.. You won’t be disappointed!!
  • Beautiful place to spend a morning or an afternoon. Scenic well maintained trails through woods with a beautiful stream with several interconnected ponds. Free admission, live animals, and a self guided nature trail for the kids. This facility is funded completely by donations.
