I was looking for something to do in the area of Cary and found this place. It’s free to get in and it has a nice facility with bathrooms and a small interactive museum for the kids. The mill itself is so beautiful and peaceful. The waterfall and rocks made me feel like I was in the mountains. They have tours of the mill on the weekends only. They also have a mile of hiking trail around the lake there. Easy walk with small children.

Beautiful, serene park and trails. I took my 3-year-old son on a Saturday morning. Not to crowded and great little museum at the entrance. This park is so impressive. A great place to enjoy the outdoors.
