Memorial Bell Tower reviews
When entering part of NC State you are welcomed by the Memorial Bell Tower. The tower is worth a stop to stand back and appreciate the architecture of the campus monument. more »
This reminded me slightly of the Washington monument in Washington DC. Obviously, it doesn't come close to how tall it is, but it is also really beautifully designed. Definitely worth stopping by. more »
This was a nice stop while we were in the area. The tower is beautiful and hearing the bells is definitely amazing. Plus the area around it has tons of grass which us great for kids to run and play. The area is perfect to park and walk the street as there are some cute little restaurants and shops nearby. Great monument at the gateway to North Carolina State University. Hope you get a nice sunny day to take good photos
The Belltower is the symbol for NC State University. Building started in 1921 to memorialize the 34 veterans of WWI. If you have the chance take a tour and you'll visit the shrine inside with the memorial plaque. In 2019, the Belltower is undergoing a multi-million dollar restoration and will have real bells installed in the tower.
