  • This part of the trail was accessed from Poole Road Park. There wasn't much to see along the walking trail, but river side provided a much more interesting adventure. I was told the water level was lower then some weeks back, so I'm not sure how long it starts this way. The lower water exposed big rocks that one could walk along. It was great for pictures. Also nice for sitting on the rocks and relaxing amongst the soothing sound of the rushing water. A perfect spot for the kids to play for a few hours.
  • Our teens and I went for an 18-mile ride in March. The trail is flat and easy, great for exercise or a family outing. People along the trail waved at us as we rode by, making it the friendliest bike trail we have ever encountered. It was a beautiful day, but everything was dormant so there wasn't much to see. We saw a few birds, but had hoped to see more wildlife. Wildflowers were few and far between. From some vents, there is a sewer smell, and the river looks dirty. I wouldn't get into the water myself.
