Overlooking the beautiful Highland Valley of Ramona there are about 4 acres of grapes that enjoy the breeze, which blows most of the day. At Principe di Tricase Winery, we make some amazing natural wines, we also won many awards! Our Aglianico grapes were first planted in early 2007. Approximately, 2000 vines were planted both on the east and west sides of the vineyard. Followed, was the Nebbiolo, planted only on the east side. In 2008 and 2011 we added the Aleatico grapes. We have learned to make our products without adding anything to them for a better quality and enhancement of their healthy properties and tasting experience. We produce two kinds of wines from these grapes: dry wines and sweet dessert wines, both with incredible aromas, and we started to produce a line of excellent all natural "Modena style" balsamic vinegar.

Superb experience at a rustic winery not to far from Downtown San Diego. Wide variety of Italian and more traditional wines. But what makes this place special is the family atmosphere and friendly environment. Live music many weekends. Bring a picnic, taste the wines and enjoy a beautiful spot.
This is NOT your typical winery. It is family owned & run. It is a working farm, not just for grapes but other fruits, vegetables & livestock. They make wine "as God intended" adding nothing & very little processing (no pasturizing). I prefer dark, rich & dry reds, these they have in abundance. I'm told by the rest of my friends & family that their other wines are great as well. The only Sangria I enjoy is theirs, others are way too sweet. The atmosphere is relaxed & casual & very family friendly even for younger kids. They allow customers to bring leashed dogs that are people & other dog friendly. It's a great place to relax between my irregular & hectic work schedule. Staff & customers alike are very friendly.
