Ordered a pair of Ariat Vaquera in black, had a question about UK customs charges which was answered within the hour. Boots took just under two weeks to arrive and I have to say they are fabulous! Sandy wrote me a lovely note wishing me happy holidays! Perfect experience from start to finish and lovely people! Highly recommend!

The master leather smiths and shoe makers here represent some of the last of their kind. Cowboys and ranchers from these parts come from far and wide to have their prized hats and boots either custom-made by Solano and crew or to be repaired expertly by them. And indeed, they are masters of their craft, too. Solano's carries an extensive Western clothing selection, women's and men's, to compliment any hat and boots you might own. I bought a beautiful vest that is perfect for most any event I might attend. Check out the considerable collection of old cowboy hats that hangs high above the front counter. They have been donated by the continuing generations of local ranchers and cowboys who have shopped here for decades. Perhaps they bought a new hat and were willing to let go of their old favorite as long as they knew that they could always stop by and see it again on the wall. A nice thought. Who knows.....
