  • Frog Bay is significant in that it is the first ever tribal national park. In addition, it is off the beaten path (my preference) and provides beautiful views of the Apostle Islands from the mainland. The interpretive signs and rustic pathways leading to Lake Superior are informative & practical. For a deep woods and Lake Superior experience, from the Wisconsin mainland, it can't be beat.
  • Great 1 mile easy hike. Had 5 yr. old gdaughter along and she walked all. Shortcut back to parking lot if you don't want to repeat the hike. Well kept trail. Very gradual slope to the beach. Beautiful woods. Interpretive signs. Well marked. Thanks to the Red Cliff tribe for creating this park and hiking path.
