  • This is a fantastic little slice of the great outdoors in the middle of suburbia. This is a super neat park with trails to walk, a pond with turtles an outdoor amphitheater, and facilities for grilling. They allow camping, and a few times a year they conduct overnight family programs where they have rangers that will guide activities. Highly recommend not leaving food out overnight, or you may get some critter friends like we did. This is probably to small of a park to spend a whole day, but a few hours or an overnight experience is definitely worth it.
  • I love the wilderness park! It is the perfect environment for children to experience nature close to home. The park is well-maintained and the staff has always been helpful. Ideal for families, youth groups, troop outings and more.
