Browseabout Books, Rehoboth Beach

A fabulous independent book store in the center of the action in Rehoboth Beach, in business since 1975. New and some used books, toys, games, stuffed animals, and a great selection of books by local writers (some books are even signed!). The staff picks are a good mix of all different genres, I had a hard time deciding what to get. Friendly staff, I could spend hours here. Shop small business, next time you're in the area check this place out!

Upon first glance, Browseabout Books looks like another tourist gift shop near Rehoboth Beach. But don't be fooled. When you enter, pass the gifts up front and find the large book collection in the back. They have every section possible from travel to young adult to cookbooks. Most impressive is their kids section complete with games, puzzles, toys and all kinds of books, including books that expose your kids to different types of people and backgrounds. We ended up buying a few educational books for our four-year-old daughter at the store.
