The Reno Arch is an iconic landmark in Reno, Nevada spanning Virginia Street at the intersection with Commercial Row. The current sign is the third version of the arch. It is owned and operated by the City of Reno. The original arch was built on October 23, 1926 to commemorate the completion of the Lincoln and Victory Highways. The current arch was installed on August 8, 1987, retrofitted with new lights on November 17, 2009 and had its design scheme revised to blue and silver on May 3, 2018. The arch is a prominent feature of downtown Reno and for most of its history has featured the city's motto, The Biggest Little City in the World.Add Reno Arch and other attractions to your Reno trip itinerary using our Reno attractions planning website.

The Reno Arch is the infamous “Biggest Little City in the World” that is heavily light up at night time. It’s tacky …but great!

Famous Arch, my dad was here 80 years ago. I always liked the way he talked about the city of Reno. It was excellent to visit and have such fun. The shops and restaurants are great. Casinos are The Row. Three casinos run into each other under roof. The Peppermill is the 5 star Hotel. The atmosphere is good everywhere. Reno Rocks!

It's a cool landmark with a crosswalk under it so pictures can be taken easily. It's a part of the history in Reno. There is parking close by, the streets arent exactly crowded here unless there is an event like the Italian Festival, Street Vibrations you know summer nights typa stuff so check out the City of Reno events schedule if your not sure whats happening during a certain time frame.
