Gull Meadow Farms, Richland

My family used to enjoy Gull Meadow Farms but recently its become a far more commercialized farm and honestly incredibly over priced. It’s become more of a theme park & Admission has recently gone up also. The U pick apples, Pumpkins and gift shop are incredibly expensive. What we enjoyed about the farm was it’s family fun local feel but it’s growing in to a commercial farm that pushes that Sell sell sell (buy buy buy) attitude and they offer less and less quality products as they pump out as much as they can for their fall season. There are SO many wonderful pumpkin patches, local family farms and smaller family friendly farms that have fun fall activities and more reasonable prices. We found a new smaller, local farm to attend. We will not be returning to Gull Meadow Farms. It’s unfortunate that they’ve turned in to such a money grabbing attraction. If you look on the website Friday - Sunday admission is now 12$ (That’s 48$ for a family’s of four - Not including pumpkins, donuts, apple cider or anything other than activities - That’s ridiculous!!) We found an amazing local farm that’s admission is nearly half, pumpkins are inexpensive and quality. Do your research and support local smaller family farms - Not corporations parading as Family Farms. Family owned doesn’t always mean they don’t heavily profit or take advantage of their costumer base. Incredibly disappointed in what they’ve become.

We love Gull Meadow Farms! Our family has been season pass holders for many years now & each year our passes easily pay for themselves! Best Santa around! Just remember, you can't please everyone, but you bring happiness to a lot of people!
